i had these beautiful flowers waiting for me when i got home from work tonight c/o my husband.

i asked what the occasion was...

...he responded with "because it's tuesday."

jay and i were able to travel to ohio post christmas to visit my family. as soon as we booked the tickets i started praying for snow; living in south florida it is something i miss around christmas time. the night before jay flew in my prayers were answered and a big snow storm hit and there were constant flurries throughout the week. as soon as the snow started to fall i took my camera and ran outside to grab some pictures. below are a few of my favorites:

{preview} ascent night of worship | west palm beach photographer

the first sunday of every month my church, the ascent, conducts a "night of worship"; an evening of all singing and worship held at the harriet in downtown west palm beach. this past night of worship was extra special because the band was recording a live cd that will hopefully be available in march. reflecting back on the night, it was evident that the energy and focus from the band to the congregation was really on worshiping the lord, not recording a good sounding album. it was amazing to be in the midst of 700 people all singing and praising god with no reservation...

welcome to the official blog of marie kelley photography. i hesitated creating a photography blog for a long time because i am currently working on a website/blog that should go live in the very near future. the website will be a blog/website in one, aka a blog-site, so once it is finished this blog will be obsolete. but i have so many recent shoots i want to share so with much trepidation...here it is! keep checking back, i will try to update often.
