i had the awesome opportunity to shoot alongside two amazing photographers, ryan and kelly portnoy of kellan studios. they recently traveled down to miami for a destination wedding and i was thrilled to be able to spend the day with them. below are a few of my favorites from the day....

jay and i traveled to south carolina for thanksgiving last week; while we were there we squeezed in a quick family session with jay's brother, sister.in.law. and two adorable children. jay and his mom came to the shoot too, so it was a whole family affair! i feel so fortunate to have married into such a loving family. they have accepted me from the first time jay brought me home to meet everyone (even if i did break a collectors plate and set off the burglar alarm!) and i love them dearly.
it is my pleasure to introduce the boykins:

sweet K did a great job looking fierce for the camera:

little S was a bit trickier, but between running and playing with some dirt i caught a few individual shots:

some sibling love...as you can tell S is not really digging the affection K is trying to bestow upon him:

a few of just the parents:

and finally a couple self timed portraits:

so another one of my favorite shoots this year was with my brother and sister.in.law. zac, my older brother, got married almost three years ago to his lovely wife sarah. the way these two look at each other would make anyone melt and it blesses my heart to see my brother so in love to such a wonderful woman. we had so much fun traipsing around downtown canton on their day after shoot. and i may be biased, but having such a gorgeous couple truly makes my job as a photographer easy! thank you both for allowing me to capture these special images; i truly treasured our time together.
